Coupon for a cause

I live in the heart of Alabama, and as I am sure you all know, there are a lot of people here who need help. By the grace of God, my family and my home were safe in all of the destruction, but there are others very close to us that were not. My heart goes out to every single person who has lost a loved one, their belongings, or their pets. I feel as though the people who were not directly affected by these storms should do everything that they can to reach out to those in need.

I am going to be working very hard over the next few weeks to compile lists of all the things that I can get my hands on for free that can be donated. From what I understand, nothing is to small to consider donating. I will be looking for deals on canned goods, medicine, diapers, toiletries, and drinks. And post them on here as I find them. I am going to stop stockpiling for my family for a few weeks and work completely on stockpiling for this cause.
I went into my basement yesterday and gathered everything that I could think of that could be used right now. Simple things like the tuna pouches that can be purchased for around $.10 after the $.50 coupon that is available to print every Friday. The filler items like $.77 VO5 at CVS some weeks, or the unbelievable amounts of FREE toothpaste deals at just about every drugstore almost every week. All of these things would be greatly appreciated
by all of these people who have lost everything. I was able to fill almost the entire bed of a truck with things that I already had.

So if you have the time and ability to do this, just check back with me each day to see what I have found and consider donating it. There are tons of places where you can send things or if you are close enough just run by and drop it off.
