I decided at the first of the year to clean out one side of the basement and dedicate it to my stockpile. I am very limited on storage space upstairs. My cabinets under my sink were over flowing with shampoo, lotion, etc. And my pantry was so full with box foods that I had to store some things in my laundry room. Once I started stocking up on cleaning products, I didn't have room in my laundry room anymore.
We didn't really have the extra money to run out and buy shelves so I had to make due with what my husband already had downstairs (which wasn't much) but it is working. I grabbed a few 12 gallon totes that I found on clearance at Lowe's after Christmas, but I am afraid I am going to have to invest in some shelving units.
